A small toy shop with strict standards

Why we started

We started Tivora Innovations after spending too many evenings squinting at toy labels, trying to work out what a product was actually made of and which age it was really meant for. Instead of guessing, we decided to build a shop where that information sits in plain sight on every page: materials, dimensions, weight, age grading, choking-hazard status and care instructions.

What we sell — and what we don't

We carry five categories: sensory toys, teethers and rattles, plush, wooden and Montessori toys, and bath toys. We do not sell battery-powered noise toys, toys with magnets small enough to swallow, or anything with a coating we cannot document. If a product fails a pull test, a wash test or the small-parts cylinder check for its stated age, it does not go on the site.

How we test

• Small-parts cylinder check on every component of every item.
• Seam, clip and ring pull tests to at least 15 lb of force.
• Ten wash or sterilization cycles before a fabric or silicone item is listed.
• Supplier documentation for ASTM F963 and CPSIA compliance, including lead and phthalate testing, kept on file for every SKU.
